The Structure of Our Teenage Driving Course
Our Teenage Driving Course is specifically for teens between 14 to 17 years old. Here’s a breakdown of how the process works:
-
At 14 years old, your teen can begin the driving course with us.
-
At 15, they can take the learner's permit test and start practicing behind the wheel with a parent.
-
At 16, after completing the required 6 months of supervised driving practice, they can take the road test and earn their driver’s license.
It’s important to note that Texas law requires teens to complete 30 hours of driving practice with a parent or guardian before they can take the road test. This helps them gain the experience they need to drive safely on their own.
